The National Association of Realtors tells us 95% of buyers and the majority of sellers are online. They also tell us only 58% of all real estate agents have a website and many more are afraid of social media. The problem here is that you have to be where your prospective clients are. And your prospective clients are ONLINE!
I generate so much content online that I have a client who calls me every time he finds me on the internet. He’ll say, “What in the heck? I was searching for Crested Butte fly fishing and you popped up.” Then two weeks later he’ll call saying, “I was searching for restaurants in Crested Butte and you popped up!”
This is because I do a lot of lifestyle videos, not just real estate. I’ve written lots of articles because it’s something I enjoy and it’s part of my passion.
So I’m top of mind because people see my name very often. Whether they’re searching for something related to my real estate business or not. And if they ARE searching for something to do with real estate in my market I provide information. I answer questions online before they even have to ask them.
I want to be where my clients are because that is where I can serve them best. The same way that I go to gala events to match my dream client demographic, I go online to match them.
A lot of the online stuff seems very daunting at first, I know. But with my strategies and systems you will show yourself as an authority and you will be attracting affluent clients that you want to work with!
