I know it doesn’t seem like it now, but there will be light shining through at the end of the tunnel soon. It’s normal to be worried and concerned, which is why I want you to be fully equipped once COVID-19 is behind us. Take an inventory of how this downfall as effected you and log what you need to accomplish to be successful. When the day comes, hopefully by June or late May, how will you be prepared?
It’s essential that you take this opportunity to serve yourself, so that you can think clearly and rationally. With all this time in quarantine, I’ve established a number of different goals and challenges relating to all aspects of my life. Think of Spring as a time of change or growth, whether that means setting personal aspirations, fitness challenges, family promises, friendship goals, financial targets, or business objectives so that you can start fresh.
Along with your personal intentions, it’s also notable to consider your philanthropy goals. How can you be serving your community during this time? Although we are in a state of lockdown, think to yourself, is there any volunteering that you can do that can help bring some cheer to this whole situation? Could you donate to a food drive or educate others about how they can better serve the community during this qarautine? While being limited to the boundaries of my home, I have taken some of these actions to bring assurances to my community, whether that’s sharing inspiring stories on Facebook, or helping out a neighbor at a distance. It can be refreshing to sit back and consider of how you can help your community and serve yourself so that you can ultimately, make decisions rationally.
It’s really easy to make emotional decisions right now. I urge you to look at your goals and take a second to think before you act. Nobody makes good decisions when they’re making irrational decisions. I always tell clients that part of my job is to analyze the market data and create information about their home, so they can make informed decisions. This logic is something you should be thinking about next time you’re in a tough position. Keep practicing social distancing and think rationally with a goal oriented mindset, have a splendid day!
