Do More This Year Than Last Year!

Are you proud of where you are in your real estate business right now? Are you proud of what you’ve accomplished in 2019? Or are you reflecting on the last year in your business and only seeing things you didn’t manage to do. Is that all you’ve got?

I think you can do MORE in 2020!

Focus at the top of your market, see in the MLS what the median transaction amount was and then aim to do business above that. But there’s fierce competition at the top so you’ll need to do things differently this year if you want to get there… I need you to work smarter AND harder!

Figure out exactly what your goals are for the upcoming year and then start planning on how you’re going to achieve them. What do you need to change to make this happen?

One of the most important things that I can tell you about getting into that top level of the market is that you need to find an in with those potential clients. Affluent clients are well-educated and will do their research on you. They want to know you before they do business with you. Because when they know you and know your skills and expertise, doing business with you will seem low risk!

You need to become the obvious and safe choice and the best way of doing that is through your digital footprint. Publish testimonials, market reports and content. And when I say content, I mean REAL content. Share information about your specific market that they will want to know, not the same generic blog posts that every other agent also has on their Facebook page…

If you want different results this year, you will need to do different things. You can’t just do the same stuff as last year and hope it will magically work out better this time. And if the technology aspect of publishing and creating content seems overwhelming, don’t worry! There are lots of people who can help you!

One of the most important things I have found is that consistency is key. But you need to have systems in place to be able to achieve that. So analyze your business over the last year, think about what changes you want to make and then see how you can implement automated systems to make that happen.
