The Domino Effect in Your Real Estate Business

Do you believe you could cause a domino effect in your real estate business? I often tell people about the domino effect and I tell them that they are just one affluent client away.

When I first started as a real estate agent in 2009, it was kind of a downturn in the real estate market. But I got a call from a potential client that wanted me to list their home. They had been referred to me by somebody else and so they gave me call.

This person had been receiving my market reports and newsletters and their home was in the same subdivision as the previous client. Their home was $2 million listing and it really created a domino effect in my real estate business.

After I got that first listing I was able to attract other affluent buyers and sellers. Birds of a feather flock together!

Because other buyers and sellers saw that I was listing and marketing certain homes they believed I had credibility and authority. They trusted me to represent them and list their homes because their peers had shown their trust in me.

Now, I couldn’t have done all of this without doing the work upfront. I provided the market reports, the newsletters, the property valuation reports and so already demonstrated my ability to be an authority.

But you can do the same thing!

Create content with detailed information about the affluent and luxury subdivisions and gated communities in your market. And you’ll be considered an authority and people will contact you.

The domino effect will take over after that. All it takes is one affluent client to call you and the rest will follow!
