I recently had my 10th annual Crested Butte gathering in Dallas where I did just that. Dallas is one of my big feeder markets so I bring together prospective clients and clients that live in Dallas and have second homes in Crested Butte. I bring my market to them!

I organize an event with a speaker every year and this was the tenth year I’ve done. Now consider that I haven’t even been in my market for 10 full years yet! So I started doing this even as a brand new agent! I think the first time like 50 or 60 people showed up to the event. 

I put a lot of time and effort into getting people there and making sure it’s great. And it’s a fantastic offline strategy that I’ve been using for almost a decade and it’s been very successful! I can count over a dozen transaction directly tied to me hosting this event, and that has generated over $250,000 in gross commission income.

So look, I know a lot of people reading this are going to be a little terrified at the idea of hosting an event like this. But I promise, you can do this whether you’re an experienced agent or a totally brand new agent. AND the fact that it’s offline means you can do this whether you’re good with technology or not!
