Bring your clients peace of mind

As we enter week three of self isolation, the reality of this virus is beginning to set in. I know that my vision of how to proceed and approach this crisis has been a little foggy, but it’s critical to stay positive and keep an optimistic mindset.

My wife used to work in cardiac rehab and pulmonary rehab in Dallas. A big part of the recovery process for those patients was considering their mindset, their psychology, and their spirituality from an alternate perspective. In order for us to survive mentally, it’s important to read a book, go for a run, or do something for yourself to keep a uplifting mindset. I’m not saying you shouldn’t feel down sometimes because trust me, I have those moments as well. I’m just expressing how it’s worthwhile to put yourself in a place where you can react positively and then help others.

For  example, generally I only send out a market report to my database once a month, but recently I’ve been delivering my market report on a weekly basis. Although this is more work than I am used to, I’ve been taking breaks for a quick workout or other therapeutic activities to stay motivated. This allows me to continue fulfilling my clients needs while maintaining an enthusiastic attitude. The people on my list stay updated and are aware of any changes, whether they are positive or negative changes. I benefit because I stay informed and about my market and it gives me an opportunity to stay connected with my clients on a weekly basis. I’ve received tons of gratitude and acknowledgment in response to my market reports and the increased production of market reports, specifically.

I highly suggest that you share the effects that COVID-19 has had in your market with your clients and community!

The development and creation of my market reports comes from a variety of different sources that you can replicate and accumulate in your area. I typically gather information from the state and the county departments, discuss the repercussions business owners are experiencing, listen to the stories of people locally, compare and contrast this data from past months with graphs or images, and more. These are all sources you can reference that will add value to your report. Lately, I have also been including a section that suggests where people can donate, serve the community, and volunteer to give back to those involved in COVID-19. This section can be beneficial because it provides authenticity and a solution to the fight against this virus.

A market report is powerful during this time because it not only brings your clients peace of mind, but it can also bring you peace of mind so that you can prepare and plan for how you’re going to engage with your clients in light of what the market is doing. I hope this brings you some clarity and don’t forget to maintain balance in your life for the greater good of your overall wellness!
